
Muelle house is one of houses in big island of Chiloe, Chilie made entirely of wood. Designed by Jonas Retamal and overlooks the Castro’s fjord. The region has very unstable weather so the house, which is siting on 28% slope, is protected from the fire, cold, wet weather and other disaster the nature could cause. A lot of native wood taken from a near forests: peanuts, tepa and ulmo.
